Lancer Link: How did you get into soccer?
Richard Harris: I definitely wanted to follow the family legacy. I also have been playing over ten years. Playing that long, I have found that I love all aspects of the sport.
LL: What is the most difficult part of participating in soccer?
RH: There is a lot of running and general fitness that we have to participate in. It is also a sport that takes up most of your schedule so you have to be prepared to sacrifice school time and family time for practices and games.
LL: What motivates you to keep playing soccer?
RH: It is fun and exiting to play. Also, I enjoy being part of the team. I feel very close to the team; they are great friends to me.
LL: What advice do you have for younger soccer players?
RH: Keep working hard and trying your best. Always have faith in your team and coach.
